Sam Fulton - Business Development Manager - Australia

Sam joined the family company in 2009 after many years in the mountain-tourism industry in the South Island. His experience as operations manager at Franz Josef Glacier Guides and Treble Cone Mountain and a stint running a cleaning business in London gave him a good understanding of the processes involved in running a successful business. Sam is now a director and shareholder at Fero and is passionate about the companies future as part of the manufacturing sector in New Zealand.
Sam has recently relocated across the ditch and is based in Sydney. He is developing new business opportunities with manufacturers throughout Australia and is excited about the seemingly endless opportunites in electronic and wire technology on that side of the Tasman.
Sam is a keen sportsman and when he has had enough of city life he escapes to Wanaka, where he and four friends have recently built a lodge, and spends his days skiing in the Southern Alps.
Michael Dunn - Sales Manager
Australian, Michael Dunn, has bucked the trend and made his way across the Ditch from Melbourne to join the Fero Manufacturing Division Sales Team. Michael’s extensive sales experience in the electronic and electrical sectors with companies Clipsal and Ramelec make him an obvious choice to lead this team. He is looking forward to meeting many of New Zealand’s manufacturing companies and leading a team that will be increasingly focussed on building productive relationships with our customers.
Michael is also focussed on bringing perfect DIFOTIS to our customers and will work closely with the Fero Production Team to ensure our customers’ orders are delivered in full, on time and fulfil the quality demands of the highly competitive manufacturing sector.
But we suspect Michael’s real reason for coming to New Zealand is to play as many golf courses as possible! Playing off a 7 handicap he is ready to take on all comers and is making plans to play from Kauri Cliffs to Wanaka and everything in between. As an Australian representative baseballer he is obviously a gifted player of any sport that requires a stick and a ball.
Tasi Samu - Account Manager
Tasi graduated from the University of Auckland in 2003 with a Bachelor of Engineering, majoring in electronics. He has gained considerable experience over the last seven years working for electronics company – Soanar. Tasi decided that the beginning of a new decade was a good time to take on a new challenge and was the first new staff member appointed to Fero in 2010.
Our customers can look forward to dealing with an account manager who has a very strong service and solutions focus, expertise in the electronic industry and a commitment to develop effective customer relationships.
When Tasi is not working he is enjoying his new family of teenagers and toddlers. The beach is his favourite place for a bit of R & R and he loves all sports especially cricket and rugby.
Hasan Ahmad - Account Manager
Hasan came to New Zealand from Pakistan in 1989. He obtained a masters degree in physics after studying at both Karachi and Auckland Universities. He has worked in the electronics industry for over 18 years in a variety of roles including; electronic design and repair, PCB assembly, sales and customer service. He came to Fero (then TradeTech) in February 2008 and he is applying his considerable experience to providing excellent service and solutions for his customers.
Hasan is married with two children and enjoys keeping up with current affairs and sport, especially rugby and cricket and playing badminton. And just occasionally he proves he is a dab hand in the kitchen by providing lunch for the staff at Fero.
Grant Millington- Account Manager
Grant originates from Wellington and is a Victorian graduate in business. Grant has gained his experience in electronics mainly in the transportation industry, having worked as a contract manager on infrastructure and commercial projects.
Grant is new to Fero in 2012 and is keen to get to know all the manufacturing customers.
When Grant is not busy with work or his young family, he shares the same passion as many kiwi blokes - fishing and boating.
